Even though babies were fed rice cereal after only 2 weeks back in the day :), we waited 6 long months to give Maxwell his first taste of “solid” food. I think he liked it! I think he also liked the spoon just as much and would have eaten that too if we had let him. He wasn’t quite so sure what to do with it all at first but he quickly got the hang of it and ate the whole bowl. He is definitely going to be a good eater I think!
Of course I documented the whole thing with my camera…we also recorded it on our Flip. Yep, first time parents here!

That little cutey pie – just wait until he gets to eat something that really tastes good – he will gobble it up!
So exciting!! In a blink of an eye he’ll be feeding himself! It all goes by too fast. Record everything. You think you will remember everything but unfortunately parts fade away. Record. Record. Record. Go Maxwell! =D
He needs his solids to get back to fighting weight. Maxwell, thank you for keeping this meal on your tray.
He seems to really like the rice cereal! I hope he will like oatmeal better than someone, who will remain nameless!!!
