FAQ’s

I shouldn’t really call these FAQ’s because it’s not like I’m asked these questions frequently.  But, I do get asked them from time to time so, for inquiring minds…

What type of camera do you have?

In short, my iPhone! But I also have a Canon Rebel XSi that I need to use more. The phone is just always there!

Where did you get the names Maxwell, Spencer, and Samantha?

It’s a family name.  You can read about it here.  And, yes, we call him Maxwell…not Max.

Spencer isn’t a family name…at least I didn’t know it was when I picked it!  Robert and I just liked it and then I found out it’s actually my grandmother’s grandmother’s maiden name!  It was meant to be.

Samantha isn’t a family name either but it’s been my favorite girl name for as long as I can remember. I think I first really heard of it when I had the Samantha American Girl doll years ago – back when it was still The Pleasant Company! While I didn’t name my daughter after my doll, I have loved that name ever since.

4. How did you make those applique shirts?
