This weekend I was on my own with my favorite little buddy. Robert was out of town on a golf trip with his brother (a Christmas present from moi) so Maxwell and I got lots of QT. We were pretty productive too – worked in the yard, took several walks, stocked up on groceries, did some shopping and then cleaned out my closet to make room for that shopping. I’m taking advantage of these days when I can tote Maxwell around Saks with no complaints…I know that won’t last forever! 🙂 It was a gorgeous weekend here too with temps in the high 80’s. It was nice but I’m not ready for those sweltering summer days quite yet. Let me tell ya, 88 degrees feels way hotter when you’re toting a 17 pound baby boy on your hip!
We have a fun week coming up. Maxwell’s baptism is on Sunday so lots of family is coming into town. We are so excited to see everyone! Enjoy the pics today…

Ok loyal readers…BIG news! Â We just got back from the doctor and all looks good. Â Our little Baby Boy Brown is going to be Big Brother Brown!!!! Â Robert and I have clearly lost our minds but…bring on the adventure!
Maxwell is super excited to say the least…
Robert and I are definitely flipping out a little but are really happy. Â Our little babies will only be 16 months apart….wow! Â This little guy doesn’t know what’s about to hit him…
I’m also super excited that some of you are actually believing this right now.  Let me just say a big april fool’s to all of you!  🙂  We’re crazy…but we’re not THAT crazy!!  🙂  Ha ha ha!!

Huntsville Recap
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!  Hope you’re all wearing your green!  🙂
As I mentioned on Monday, we went to Huntsville last weekend to see most of Robert’s family and meet the newest cousin, Andrew! Â It was a great day…
Maxwell got lots of good squeezes from Lulu…
and had lots of fun playing with her face!
Maxwell then got to meet Andrew. Â He couldn’t wait to get his hands on him!
Andrew wasn’t quite so sure what to make of Maxwell!  🙂
But he warmed up to him pretty quickly…
and they were instant hand-holding buddies!
Maxwell then enjoyed playing with some different toys…
and watching Andrew open some presents…
We then tried to take some pictures of Andrew and Maxwell together. Â Definitely not as easy as it sounds. Â My focus is way off (I blame the moving babies) and the color was terrible so I changed them to black and white. Â Not the best but it was the best I could do in the light…
Maxwell kept giving Andrew “hugs” and it was just the cutest…

We then took some group photos on the couch. Â Maxwell and Anna were having a grand ole time with each other!
Poor little Andrew almost got squished in the middle…
But everyone quickly realized and gave him the attention he deserved!
Before we left, Maxwell was sure to get a big hug from Aunt Messy! (although he clearly only had eyes for Holland!)
It was a great day all around! Â We can’t wait to see everyone again soon!
