So, according to Maxwell, Samantha rolled over from her back to her tummy yesterday! He was the only one in the room with her so I have no idea how it really went down but he promises he didn’t give her a little push or anything! I’m waiting to see it with my own eyes! 🙂 Regardless, we’re trying to get our tummy time in every day. Some days Samantha doesn’t mind it and is pretty entertained watching her brothers run circles around her…

These two brothers are the best of friends…

and can fight like cats and dogs! They really play together now – and with that comes all the good and all the bad! There’s a lot of fighting over toys – mainly Spencer taking whatever toy Maxwell was playing with and not giving it back! Poor Maxwell, I feel like he’s always having to concede to Spencer because you can reason with a 4.5 year old to a degree but you cannot reason with a stubborn 2.5 year old!

That said, Maxwell’s not suffering. He may have to give in to Spencer some time but he’s still doing ok because he’s got a little brother that idolizes him. Spencer is just a little copy cat of everything Maxwell says and does…literally. It’s pretty cute. Maxwell loves to tell Spencer what to do and, even better, Spencer will actually listen…most of the time! ha!

They love to practice their ninja moves on each other. It’s all fun until someone gets hurt – and someone always gets hurt – but then they’re back at it 3 minutes later. I will say, Spencer is a tough cookie and he’ll jump all over Maxwell. Maxwell will scream like he doesn’t like it but I know he actually loves it. They’re a mess together.

Best Buy, VBS and other stuff

Happy Monday! We had a good weekend around here. Unfortunately, the man of the hour has been a little under the weather. Boo! Hopefully he’ll be back to 100% soon. That didn’t stop us from celebrating Father’s Day though! He got a pancake breakfast, lots of homemade cards and even a family trip to Best Buy where we bought a new TV! woohoo!

Other things around here… Maxwell went to VBS all last week and had a great time.

On the last day, they invite the parents up to hear the kids sings the songs they learned all week. Samantha was up from her nap so I decided to surprise Maxwell and take her with me. He was SO excited. When he walked in and saw her, he just had to run over and give her a little kiss…
