We all love Maxwell and never want him to leave! He had a fantastic year in kindergarten – made great friends, learned tons, and had lots and lots of fun! A great school year indeed!!

The last day of school has come and gone for all three! What a fun, adventurous, wonderful year it has been! All three kids had fantastic school experiences with great teachers. We are so grateful for everything they are learning!

Firebombs!

I already told you about the great first game of the soccer season with the Firebombs. The season continued to go up from there! Spencer truly had a great time this year. He had some really good players on his team and he held his own with all of them. He hustled, went after the ball, scored lots of goals, and had fun! He even got competitive and managed to heckle the opposing teams a few times! ha!

The most “fun” part of soccer is having to entertain Samantha on the sidelines. Most of the time she was content to sit in the chair as long as she had a never ending supply of gummies in the cup holder. But, when she did run, I was thankful to have Maxwell to drag her back some of the times!

Maxwell was actually a big help for Coach Robert by catching out of bounds balls and kicking them out of the goal. Samantha wasn’t so much of a help but she did think she was a member of the team and could be found at every after game break-down!

Baseball!

Maxwell played coach pitch baseball this year and, I have to say, it was a lot of fun. Baseball has never been my favorite sport but getting to watch him play might make me change my tune! This was definitely a step up from t-ball because they got to play the games out at the high school fields which are top notch. Maxwell had a really great coach who encouraged him and taught him a lot about the game.

Maxwell had some great plays throughout the year and started off really strong on his hitting. He seemed to hit a rough patch toward the end of the season but I’m sure it’ll all click soon and he’ll be hitting homers every time up to bat! Most importantly, Maxwell had a lot of fun playing this year. Go Cardinals!
