SEVEN! My little baby boy is now seven…and that sounds so old. It really is true what they say, it all goes by so fast.

Just born…

One year old…

Two years old…

Three years old…

Four years old…

Five years old…

Six years old…

And now SEVEN!

Maxwell is a special kid. I know every mom thinks that but…he really is! 🙂 He’s responsible, kind, wise beyond his years, funny, personable, and generally awesome! I just love being with him and hearing the things he says and the questions he asks. He’s still very aware of the world around him and remembers everything. He has a ton of friends and seems to be liked by all. What a good, good kid he is.

He’s sports obsessed right now! He’s going to play soccer and flag football this fall and would be playing baseball too if we let him! That’s going to have to wait until spring though. He’s happiest running outside with some sort of ball in his hands. Right now, Alabama football is king and he wants to learn all about the players and the plays. Robert is in heaven! 🙂

He’s got his own style and wears what he loves – mainly Under Armour! The arm bands and the tall socks – all him. What can I say? He knows what he likes! He still loves Legos and everything Star Wars. He’s recently gotten into music and loves to listen to songs on his iPad through Amazon Music. I love to hear him singing with his headphones on! His favorite indoor activity is definitely wrestling with Spencer! Those two chase each other around and pile up on top of each other all day long and enjoy every second of it. They are big time buds and I love it. Samantha still has all of Maxwell’s heart. All he wants to do is hug on her and all she wants to do is tell him “no!” Ha! Don’t worry, he gets plenty of hugs and snuggles in with his favorite 2 year old. Both Spencer and Samantha think Maxwell is as good as it gets and will follow him wherever he leads. I have no problem with that – with a big brother like Maxwell leading them through life, they’re going to be more than fine.

My favorite seven year old in the whole world. I love him so so so very much and can only hope that he sees himself the way I see him.
