Maxwell has a new smile this summer…

a snaggletooth smile! That front tooth was loose for a while and then Spencer helped it along a little when he whacked Maxwell in the mouth with a pair of goggles. Robert tried to pull it twice but ultimately Maxwell was the one that yanked it out!

His other front tooth is loose too and might be out before school starts! Love that toothless smile!

Happy Monday! You didn’t think the Naples posts were done, did you?! Nope, there’s more! Some other fun things we did…
Trips to the beach club…

Swimming with cousins…

We saw a turtle!

We bounced!

We got lots of good rest (swimming wears you out)…

and we biked around the neighborhood!

Mostly, we hung out with our favorites, GJ and Daddo, who were so nice to put up with us!

We had lots and lots of good fun, that’s for sure.

Sadly, all good things must come to an end. On July 4th, we put on our red, white, and blue and made our way home with no problems.

Ready to go back again!
It was so hot in Naples that we really didn’t make the effort to go to the beach much. But, once Robert got into town we had to get our feet in the sand! We tried to go early before it got too hot and that was the right strategy. The kids loved it as always – building sand castles and swimming in the ocean!
Beach day one…

and beach day two…

Wish I was looking out at the ocean right now! At least it’s Friday…but Friday the 13th! eek!
Make it a great weekend!

Robert got to join us for the last bit of our stay in Naples. We were so glad he came because everything is more fun with him around!
First things first, we went to see Jurassic World – Fallen Kingdom. Spencer had been watching the other two Jurassic movies all week and was dying to see the new one! It didn’t disappoint!

Robert also took the boys fishing. He originally took Maxwell 2 years ago and then took both boys last year but they didn’t catch any fish. This year they had a good catch! Lots of snook and even a flounder grouper!

We also went exploring a bit and drove downtown one morning to grab breakfast…

yep, cookies for breakfast! vacation! We then walked over to the Naples Pier…

It’s still only half open after the hurricane but a pretty day to check out the views!

We then went over to Tin City where the kids got to pick out a piece of junk…they loved it! I see no need to ever go back. ha!

We even celebrated the 4th a day early with some fireworks and sparklers! Like I said, Robert makes everything more fun! especially playing with fire!

Wish we could be on vacation all the time!
