The kids went to DeSoto Caverns earlier this week. Hiking boots were on and they were ready for an adventure!
As I said before, the best camp is Camp Susan!

Cleaning out
Happy Monday! We had another good weekend of checking things off the list around home. We checked off the biggest item a few weeks ago when we did a MAJOR toy cleanout of the playroom. The kids were great about getting rid of things they don’t play with anymore…although some of the kids were more helpful than others! ha!
Robert ended up renting a van for the day because we had a few big items, like a lawnmower, to donate as well. We filled that van up!!
We took all the toys to a local daycare that could use them. I’m not sure the director really knew how much we were bringing her but hopefully all the toys found a great home. The kids were pretty proud of themselves as were Robert and I. We celebrated with ice cream of course!
The other good thing? When there’s plenty of room in the playroom that means plenty of room for…
the bounce house! Yes!

The key to a fun summer is staying busy with lots of free time. The boys had a few camps to keep busy…Maxwell had basketball camp earlier in the summer and then he also did soccer camp…
and baseball camp!
Thank goodness for all the awesome summer camps that Samford offers.
Spencer did McWane camp last week with two buddies…
He loved it!
Samantha hasn’t been camping but has been staying plenty busy with gymnastics and dance…
We have about 1 month left of summer and no more camps scheduled…just camp Susan!! There is nothing better than camp Susan!!
