The busy birthday weekend fun continued…

Thanks to GJ and Daddo, we got to celebrate Robert’s birthday on Saturday with a trip to Tuscaloosa to see AL play the Aggies while the boys stayed home.  It was a beautiful day and Ronnie hooked us up with tickets in the President’s Box…not too shabby at all! Thanks Ronnie!

Back in Bham, the boys were living it up taking full advantage of the day with grandparents – I think there were cookies AND ice cream! 🙂

My parents got into town on Thursday of last week and Maxwell couldn’t wait to open his birthday presents from GJ and Daddo!  We’re clearly going with a “rescue vehicle” theme this birthday and GJ and Daddo supplied him with plenty of police gear…

He also got Chase from Paw Patrol (basically Maxwell’s favorite gift ever)!

Not to be left out, Spencey got his own police car and hat too!  The fire chief jacket worked just fine as his police jacket.

It wasn’t long before Maxwell the policeman gave us all a ticket and put us under arrest!

As I said on Instagram, I’ve always felt like I live in Mayberry and now I have my very own Andy Taylor and Barney Fife!  ha!
