Lots more pics, lots more fun! Samantha was living her best life at Camp Greystone!
More pics tomorrow!
Capturing our adventures one photo at a time...
Samantha did lots activities at camp including: Mah jong, cooking, crafts, cheer, volleyball, tennis, high ropes/high adventure, archery, sewing, ceramics, glass fusion, and water park! So, so fun!! Of course there are the nightly programs where they all get to dress up – or wear pjs! – and play all kinds of awesome games. Camp is the best!
More pics tomorrow!
Samantha went back to Camp Greystone this summer! It was her third summer there and her second time going to the 3 week June session. She had the VERY best time! She had the sweetest counselors and got to be in a cabin again with friends that she met last summer. Hooray!
We loaded up to make the drive…
and spent the night in Greenville the night before drop off where we met up with her cabinmate…
and pretty much all of Mountain Brook that were going to Greystone! ha!
The next morning we made a StarBs run of course…
and then did the “drop and go!” Samantha was excited to be at Greystone!
I then immediately started stalking the photos every day so see my girl. We got lots from the first day of her with her cabin. Such a cute group of girls!
Samantha was sure to tell me that was not her messy drawer in the picture! ha! Hers was on the other side and was much neater. π Love her!
Lots more camp to come…
They got to do all kinds of fun activities while at McCallie including going white water rafting (Spencer said it was COLD!), and a track meet and swim meet…

They also went to play paintball…

They also had a dance with a girl’s camp! Spencer even made it on the girl’s camp social media! π Of course he found the girl in the AL jersey!

The most fun is that they got to go to a Braves game on the 4th of July!

It was a great two weeks of sports for Spence!

We were all ready to see him by pick up day! He and Maxwell hadn’t seen each other in 5 weeks at that point! The gang was back together!!

I missed my buddy!

They had a nice closing ceremony where Spencer got the VIP award for soccer (!). Harvard came in second place in the Ivy League narrowly missing 1st by only 4 points. Go Harvard and Go Spencer!

I’m so happy they all got to have fun summer adventures but I’m thankful to have everyone back together again.

Spencer decided to try something new this year and went to McCallie Sports Camp in Chattanooga for two weeks. They got to play sports all day, every day and stay in air conditioned dorms and even have snacks in their room! Needless to say, Spencer had a great time.
He and I drove to Chattanooga the night before drop off and stayed in the hotel with lots of the other Mountain Brook kids that were going. I then dropped him off in the morning and off he went!

Spencer was in the Ivy league and team Harvard! I always thought he could be a Harvard man!

Every day they would play a different sport and the teams would compete for overall points.

Lots of sports, lots of smiles! More pics tomorrow!
