This was an awesome pic to get on Father’s Day!

Maxwell headed back to Falling Creek in June for 3 weeks and had another fantastic summer at camp! He spent most of his time in water and couldn’t have been happier. He went on several paddling trips and did lots and lots of kayaking learning to roll and do all sorts of other skills. He was in his element for sure!
I think he had a pretty good cabin with a few boys he knew from previous summers. Jack didn’t go back this summer so he bunked up with Jude and they had a great time together.
They wasted no time getting in the water!
Taking on the Lower Green!
Can’t beat it!
I was pretty proud of all the cute cards I found too send to Samantha at camp…especially the T Swift ones!
tiny cards!
I only got two mailed letters from Samantha the whole time she was at camp. GJ got one too. I then got two more letters after we got home from pickup. All of them had the stamp on the wrong side of the envelope! ha!! That explains it! She said she wrote me about 6 more but who knows when or if we’ll ever get those! They really should teach these kids in school how to address an envelope…life skills!
All I needed to see were those smiling pics every day. π
Make it a great weekend!
Spencey and I drove up for Greystone pickup and spent another night in Traveler’s Rest!
We then headed to camp bright and early the next morning. Bet you can’t guess who was FIRST in line for pickup?!
They finally let us walk up the hill at 9am and I barely got up the walk before Samantha came running! I got the biggest running, jumping, crying hug ever and it was the absolute BEST!! Oh it was so good to see her and love on her! Spencer even got a good running hug too!
Happy campers indeed!
We then got to spend a little time seeing her cabin and crafts and friends!
We then loaded up and headed home! First stop? Starbucks of course! Pink drink and cake pop coming right up!
Samantha chatted the whole way home about her adventures at camp. I am so proud of her for going for three weeks, making new friends, learning new things, and gaining all sorts of independence! She’s a Greystone girl for sure!
Samantha rolled into her final week of camp all smiles!
I loved when I got glimpses of her doing her activities. She did so many activities I never saw like pottery and volleyball!
This night was the play! They did Frozen and Samantha had been in drama as one of her activities. She was a troll in the play!
I love that she got up on stage and so wish I could have seen the production!
Then the countdown was on to pick up day!
Last full day!
and last night with an Encanto program!
Such a cute cabin!
And then it was pickup day!!! see you tomorrow!
