Ya’ll, I’m so sick. I literally didn’t get out of bed all day yesterday. I honestly don’t know how Maxwell survived this. Thank goodness for Susan who came and took the boys all day. She is nothing short of a lifesaver.
So, sorry – it’s a sick day on the blog.

Maxwell had a little visit from the stomach bug and it has been miserable. What I thought was just a fever virus on Thursday morning turned into a full blown stomach virus by that night. Maxwell was so, so sick and didn’t get back to normal until Sunday morning. He definitely lost a few pounds and looks like skin and bones right now. Poor guy. Get that boy all the cookies he wants! We’re now just hoping the rest of us don’t get it… Ugh.
I am not one that gets stomach sick often and, honestly, having my kid get the stomach flu has been a big fear of mine. But, we made it through and, while miserable, we’re all alive…barely!
A big thank you to Susan for all of her help on Thursday and Friday!
Needless to say, we’ve watched a LOT of Toy Story 1 and 2 and Cars the past few days! There’s also been quite a bit of ipad playing..
Maxwell’s a pro on that thing!

Ok, I feel like every Friday post lately has just been about “thank GOODNESS it’s Friday!” Well, here’s another post just like that. Now that I’ve been back to work for a full week my “thank GOODNESS it’s Friday” attitude is out in full force!
This week we got back into the groove of me working and the boys being with Susan. Minus a few little bumps in the road it all went well. A few highlights…
Spencer sat in the bumbo for the first time and loved it!
Maxwell wanted to get it on the action… (poor Spencer!)
and wasn’t so sure he wanted to give up the bumbo to his baby brother!
Spencer felt so cool in his bumbo he had to rock the shades…

Unfortunately someone was feeling a little pitiful Thursday and ended up like this for most of the morning. Poor buddy.
We got hit with a little fever bug but I’m thinking it’s nothing that a marathon day of Cars and Toy Story can’t fix!

Aren’t they fun?!
On Friday of last week, I decided to take Maxwell and Spencer to do something fun to enjoy my last day off of work. It was too cold to play outside so we headed over to Wee Flip and had a blast! It’s like a mini indoor playground with all sorts of gym equipment. Maxwell loved climbing, jumping and running around.
His favorite thing? the trampoline! He would have jumped and jumped all day if I’d let him!
His second favorite thing? The little battery powered yellow train that he could ride on. fun!
Spencer just hung out and enjoyed the view!
Afterward we had a little date at Moe’s, Maxwell’s favorite lunch spot!
It was a fun way to spend the day together!
