My baby is a genius. When you tell him “bye-bye” he waves bye-bye. When you tell him “pattycake” he does pattycake with his chubby little hands. Genius I tell you. See?

Now if I could just get him walking….

Last batch of iPhone pics taken with my old phone. Loving my new 5s so far!

Please note the top right pic – that’s Maxwell with my teddy bear from growing up, Snuggles! awwww.

See you tomorrow!
Ah, school photos. Always so lovely.
School photo 2011…

School photo 2012…

and school photo 2013…

I mean, it’s not terrible. But, not worth buying either! As my mom said, “You asked Maxwell if someone brushed his hair before the picture and he said “no”. He wasn’t lying!” 🙂
Spencer got his first School photo this year too…

Sweet baby boy.
They actually gave us 2 proofs for each kid. Here’s Spencer’s serious face…

and Maxwell’s apparently terrified face!!

ha! When he came home from school that day I asked him if he smiled pretty for his picture and he said “No, they told us not to smile. They said to just make a normal face.” Guess this is what you get when you ask for a “normal face”! too funny.
School days!

A great weekend all around!
ps – these pics taken with my new iphone! hooray! anyone know about these batch photos??
Boo! It’s Halloween!! I think this year is going to be fun because Maxwell “gets” it a little more – he gets the idea of trick-or-treating and dressing up and he definitely gets the idea of candy! That kid has discovered candy corn and he’s a fan! 🙂
Unfortunately, we’re supposed to get some rain here tonight so hopefully we can get the parade and some trick-or-treating in before the weather turns. Just in case tonight is a total wash-out, we went up to the little carnival at our church last night so the boys could get to wear their costumes at least once. I attempted to snap a few pics before we went but, man, getting Spencey to sit still is impossible and getting them to both sit still and look at the camera? Not happening! Still, here’s a little preview of Halloween….

Isn’t Maxwell’s fire truck awesome?! He loves it. Spencey was supposed to be an elephant but given that it got into the high 70s yesterday and is supposed to get up to 80 today, we decided to make a last minute change away from the full body fleece elephant costume! Throw on a football jersey, some squeaky AL shoes and a little eye black and you’ve got one cute football player! 🙂

Hope we get lucky with the weather tonight!

Have a spook-tacular day!! Boo!
