Happy Monday!  Well…one kid had a really good weekend and one kid had a really bad weekend.  Let’s get the bad over with first.  Poor, poor Spencey is sick.  He’d been pretty clingy in the afternoons all week…

but I just thought he was teething.  Well, apparently it’s more than that because Saturday morning he starting running a fever and has been miserable ever since.

After a rough afternoon, he did sleep Saturday night but woke up with a fever again Sunday morning.  Sunday he was just pitiful all around…

as much as I HATE that he’s sick, I do love the snuggles with chubby little guy.

I’m guessing he’s got an ear infection but I’m not sure.  Off to Dr. Walley we go!  I need to get my pitiful guy some relief!

On the good side, Maxwell had a GREAT weekend because he got to go to Lila’s birthday at the fire station on Saturday morning!  It was just Lila’s family and us…Maxwell was her one friend she wanted to invite!  🙂

They had such fun climbing all over the trucks and touring the station.

and then got to go get Steel City Pops after.  No better way to start the day for this little man!

Here’s to all good and no more bad this week!

It might be dark when he gets up from his nap, but that doesn’t bother him.  He just takes off exploring inside!

Then brother gets up and his free reign over the toys is over the fun begins!

The boys didn’t have school yesterday and Susan needed the day off so I just took the day off of work too and hung out with my boys.  Where did we go?  The zoo of course!  And we even got to meet our good buddy, Jack, there.  Getting to see the elephants and Jack all in one day?  Just perfect!

There’s a kid’s CD I have in my car and Maxwell’s favorite song on it is “We’re goin to the zoo!”
