Candy House

December 12, 2013

The Candy House – one of my favorite Christmas traditions!  Read here for a little history on the candy house.  I pulled it out the weekend after Thanksgiving and Maxwell couldn’t wait to decorate it so we got our supplies and went to it!

Maxwell did a great job both spreading the icing and licking it!

Spencer wasn’t sure what was going on but, when he realized there was candy involved, he was mad he wasn’t getting in on the fun!

So, I gave him a few M&Ms and a gumdrop…

and he was a happy baby again!

Not surprisingly and, much like last year, Maxwell did more eating than decorating!

But, he did get some of that candy on the house and was good at telling me where to put things!  🙂

In the end, we created a masterpiece!  The best candy house yet I say!

Especially the back which was Maxwell’s main contribution!

What a wonderful tradition and your elf did such a good job, too! I would like to be so creative. The best I could do is help eat the decorations like Spencer! We loved having everyone in Highlands. I’m so glad the weather was good Sat. We will have to do it again soon!
