Last weekend all 3 kids got to go to birthday parties. Maxwell’s was at a jump park and I didn’t get any pics of it but he had fun. Spencer got to swim all morning which was nice because it was approximately 150 degrees outside all day!
Samantha had the best of all – a Frozen party!

A fun Saturday for all!
Like last year and the year before, I gave the boys a summer reading challenge just to keep them reading while school is out. Maxwell read 10 chapter books which he did easily. He finally got into some of the good series that I was hoping he’d get into, like the Magic Tree House books. Spencer read 100 books! He needed a little convincing most days to get a book or two in but he did it! GJ was a big help and read a lot of books with him while she was here.

Of course they each got a prize for completing their challenge. Maxwell wanted an Echo Dot for his room…
and Spencer wanted a silk pillowcase like I have on my bed! ha! Living that life of luxury early!!

Just when the end was coming near for Spencer’s allergy shots, looks like we’ll still be up there every week or two for the next 3 to 5 years! Maxwell is following in Robert and Spencer’s footsteps with his need for allergy shots! He got his first round last week and did great…
Not sure if Samantha will end up needing them too but, for now, she sure does enjoy the suckers they give out!

On Sunday of last week we got to go watch the Barons play from an air conditioned box! That’s the way to do it! It was a great group of kids and they sure had fun eating lots of peanuts, popcorn, and ice cream!
