We had a beautiful weekend here. It was supposed to rain all day Saturday and Sunday but the rain held off until late Saturday night. We were able to get out Saturday and enjoy the Habitat BBQ with Robert and soak in a little sunshine.
The highlight of the weekend came on Friday afternoon though. The boys and I went for a little walk and came upon this…
A whole row of yellow trucks! Heaven for Maxwell! I was kinda surprised that he actually wanted to get out of the stroller and stand on one but he did and I happily obliged…and took his picture of course! 🙂
We then walked down the road a bit and saw that the new local firehouse had the truck parked in the garage with the doors open! There was a fireman out there who told us to come on in and even gave Maxwell a new firehat.
He was one happy little boy that afternoon!
While Sunday was a very rainy day, I did capture this on my phone…
Sweet, sweet brothers enjoying a little book. Hope you all had a good weekend too!

What a great week-end for our truck and fire engine loving little boy. The last picture is just too special and sweet for words!

Awe. Sweet Boys!

We must be lining right to have the rain dodge us like it did on Saturday. I think Maxwell enjoyed the band, although he never was able to get his face painted. Sweet boys….until Maxwell uses me as a landing pad when he jumps off the corner of the sofa. Dad, I now know how it feels.

Stop it with that last pic. Stop. It.
