Samantha had her tonsils out last Tuesday and all went well.
Home and pretty doped up! ha!
Recovery was pretty “by the books”…she felt better by about day 3 and then took a turn around and stayed pretty miserable until about day 8. We managed it all with round the clock Tylenol/Motrin and some of the prescription pain meds at night when needed. Of course, ice cream and popsicles helped too!
She finally went back to school on Wednesday of this week and seems to be almost back to normal – just with a squeaky voice!
We are very glad to have it all behind us and to be rid of those “big yucky tonsils”!!
So glad all went well! Good to get them out!
She was such a trooper even when she wasn’t feeling good! Bye bye tonsils!
So proud of how she’s managed the recovery. Momma too!
I glad for a good recovery, she will feel better not have as many infections.
