As we all know, sports can bring some high highs and some low lows. After an awesome season last year making to the Super Bowl with the Raiders, this season was a little different. The Titans didn’t make it to the Super Bowl…in fact, they didn’t win a game all season. Whomp whomp. While they might not have brought home any Ws, they played their hearts out, had some really close games, and held their heads up high. Spencer again showed leadership and poise as the quarterback and made some fantastic plays throughout the season. They played well but games just never seemed to go our way in the end.
The playoff game was a heartbreaker. The Titans were leading for a while and then it was tied up until the very end. Unfortunately, Spencer took a cleat to the face – literally his teammates cleat went through his facemask and cleated him in the face! He took another hard hit to the head and the trainer pulled him from the game. I hate that he didn’t get to finish out the 4th quarter on the field. The game ended up going into overtime and the Titans lost. But, they gave it their all. Most importantly, Spencer didn’t have a concussion and the cut on his face healed up fine.
There’s plenty to learn in losing. While I wish the season had gone differently, I’m incredibly proud of how Spencer handled himself as well as the heart and hustle he put into each game. I love to watch him play!
You win some, you lose some. Or maybe you don’t win any at all some seasons!
Go Titans!

So sorry their season was not the best, but they enjoyed the game and enjoyed their teammates! Several life lessons were learned along the way! Spencer always does his best, no matter the situation! We’re very proud of him!

Spencer plays hard and will continue too. On to the next season, the Christmas season will be better.

Spencer, we’re so proud of you hard work and sportsmanship. Sorry you didn’t get a win, but that’s life at times; however, if you keep working hard things will go your way eventually!
