The original Maxwell

November 28, 2017

We got some sad news yesterday that Granddaddy passed away. He was 93 and lived a long, happy, and golf-filled life. I’m so grateful for all the years I had with him and even more grateful that all of my kids got to meet him. I can’t wait to celebrate his life with the rest of the family this week.

We traveled to Arkansas to see him just this past summer…

Through the years I’ve gotten lots of good pictures of the three Maxwells!!

Christmas was always a special time with my grandparents. When we were little they would come to town and take me and my brother and to eat at Franke’s and sit on Santa’s lap at the mall! Seems fitting that my brother and parents got to eat at Franke’s with Granddaddy just last week.

We sure will miss him – and his Christmas socks! – this year…

We love you, Granddaddy.
