Street Party success! Just like the last one, it was months of planning, lots of hard work, but all worth it! The day went off (mostly) without a hitch and I think all the kids had a great time. The weather was perfect and everything seemed to run smoothly! Yay!
As always, GJ was there to help and I couldn’t have done it without her. Maxwell also decided he needed to come “help” for the day so he played hooky from 1st grade to go back to preschool! 🙂
Just some pics of the setup so I remember. Unfortunately I didn’t get a great pic of the inside room that had tattoos, face painting, and superhero masks to decorate.
With my co-chair, Sarah…
The most important thing was that the kids had FUN! They loved the games, the prizes, the bounce house!!
Sadly, the only snafu of the day was when the generator powering both of the bounce houses in the park went down. We were able to get one up and going with an extension cord and then FunSource finally got back out there with a new generator. Not ideal but out of our control. We made it work!
It was a lot of work but I had 3 good reasons to do it!
I’d do anything for this crew! 🙂
Street party success! ✔️✔️
It was a great success! Maxwell was a huge help and love that he wanted to come. Obviously has great memories of IPC and his Street Fair!
Energy abounds around Steph! This takes a lot of time and effort, hats off for you. Thanks , to Jan and Maxwell. Too.
Congrats on a job well done! There was lots of effort and energy poured into this. It looked great and the kids had a blast!
