First, I hope you all got a good laugh out of the April Fool’s joke on Friday. I really put up the post to fool my mom, aka GJ. I have quite the history of fooling her every year and she continually falls for whatever I cook up. This year was no exception! I got her good! GJ – thanks for being such a good sport! You make the holiday fun! 🙂
This weekend, Robert and I turned up our doing dials! 🙂 We had GORGEOUS weather to work outside and we got so much done. Robert did all kinds of yard work and I planted all kinds of flowers in our planters. I think I mentioned before, but we’ve been doing some work on the exterior of our house – repainting, replacing rotten wood, etc. The painters and contractors should finally (hopefully!) be out of here by mid-week and I am so ready to have the project finished! We’re going to do a little more landscaping and then all of our major projects should be behind us. Hooray! We are ready to have everything looking good!
Some pics of my planters and pots…
Lots of herbs! Can’t wait to pick that basil…Yum!
Front porch…
Maxwell enjoyed the pretty weather with walks in the stroller and swinging in the Tot Lot. He also thoroughly enjoyed some carrots on Saturday…
Sweet, messy boy. I could eat him up!
We are all very happy that spring has sprung!
Sounds like a great week-end! Maxwell is just too cute for words!
YAY for big projects being completed! I remember that feeling fondly! Maxwell is getting so big! He’s going to be quite the helper once is starts walking. He’ll pull the weeds and the flowers. 🙂
Maxwell may like carrots, but he still hates green beans. From the look of them, I don’t blame him.
