On Sunday afternoon, we had our final soccer game of the season. Maxwell did great and just ran his little heart out! Coach Robert had the team ready to go for their final showdown against the green team!
Maxwell was really good and running up and down the field. But, he didn’t care too much about actually kicking the ball! This picture makes me laugh because it was pretty typical of the games with Maxwell and Riley down at the opposite end just checking things out!
But, he did get up in there and go after the ball a few times! 🙂
After the game (which was totally a Team Blue victory!) Coach handed out trophies to everyone.
Maxwell’s first trophy!
Yay for Maxwell and yay for Coach Robert!
It was a great season for Team Blue!

Awe! They are all so cute. Congrats, Maxwell on a great season! And Coach, too!

I saw a lot if hustle and heart out of this Blue team. They battled each week through no naps, sugar highs and just wanting mommies. The fog of U4 soccer games hardens an athlete, but I’m happy to say these kids persevered and they came through as champions and did so as a team. These little warriors will have a special place in my heart.

Good job to Maxwell and Coach Robert! Love that Maxwell wore his cap while playing! Good exercise and a good beginning to team sports! Way to go!
