As I mentioned, we told Maxwell about the new baby this past weekend. He’s really come around to the idea and is pretty darn excited now, especially when he finally grasped the idea that the baby is ALREADY IN MY TUMMY. What?! Anyway, he went to school on Monday and I guess decided he just had to spread the news. When I went to pick the boys up from school that day, Spencer’s teacher was the first to say, “So, Maxwell tells us he’s going to have a baby sister!” ha! When I told her it was true (well, sister OR brother), the teachers all laughed and said they would need to apologize to him because they hadn’t believed him! Then, the next day, Max’s mom texted me and said, “Max just told me that Maxwell announced to the class that he is getting another baby!” Ha! When you’ve got good news, you’ve got to share I guess! And, no, we don’t know that it’s a sister…but Maxwell has now decided that he wants a sister because “we already have a baby bruver.” Makes sense to me! 🙂

Never tell Maxwell a secret! So sweet that he’s so excited! Love the firetruck with a ladder on top! The new baby will be well protected with Maxwell on duty!
Look at our little artist! Can’t wait for him to take on works in more than one color. Guess he’s just going through his Orange Phase right now. Who knows maybe we have the next Picasso.
