Scouts started strong in August 2025 with Robert leading a campout to Montgomery Whitewater! The boys got to white water raft and do the zip line! fun…and hot!!
Spencer was working hard to fulfill cooking merit badge requirements!

In September I also lead the swimming merit badge and it was funny to see how many of the boys couldn’t float!

Cooking and camping is exhausting! ha!
In October Spencer went on the backpacking campout and hiked the Walls of Jericho. It was hard, it was rainy, it was not fun but I am so proud of him! He completed his backpacking cooking and hiked all of the elevation changes he needed for the camping merit badge.

It’s good to see the accomplishments that scouting can offer. Getting to do things with friends makes it fun and gives the boys life skills. Kudos to Steph for her efforts with the troop, great support!
