Happy Monday! We had a great weekend – mainly because when we got in the car at 7:30 on Sunday morning to go to Starbucks, the temperature was only reading 66 degrees! woohoo! Even though it warmed on up as the day went on, it definitely made me think that we might make it through this summer alive after all! Robert and I took advantage of the cooler temps with lots of yardwork – mostly trimming all the shrubs and boxwoods out front. It was hard work and my pregnant back is feeling it today! So glad it’s done though.
Maxwell was a big helper outside and always wanted to squeeze into whatever small part of the bed I was working in. That’s ok though, I like having him close by! 🙂
On Saturday afternoon after a bath, Maxwell got to wear his awesome new tie-dye tshirt that his cousins, Delaney and Nate made for him.
Isn’t it great! It looks professionally done I think! Way to go Jen, Delaney and Nate!!
Despite his serious face, Maxwell loved it. He only wore it for a few hours on Saturday and it wasn’t dirty so when I asked him on Sunday morning if he wanted to wear it again, he honesty squealed! Guess this kid’s got a thing for bright colors!!
See you tomorrow and, in the spirit of the shirt, love and peace.
