Make it a great weekend!
We celebrated Samantha’s birthday last weekend with a perfectly pink Minnie Mouse party! Maxwell suggested the idea of a Minnie party and I thought it sounded just right!

Samantha was wearing pink, of course, and was ready to party!

The house had plenty of decorations, including some impressive Minnie Mouse drawings by Maxwell!

We had family over for lunch and cake – and plenty of cousin fun! We were so grateful to have LuLu, Granddaddy, baby Margaret, Jenny, Ronnie, Katie, Anna, GJ and Daddo there to help us celebrate! I was so happy to get this good shot of the kids with my parents (I say Samantha’s big smile cancels out Spencer’s sour face. ha!)…

although this shot is probably more realistic and made me laugh! 🙂

Everyone had fun chatting and playing…

and then we put on our (too tight!) party hats…

and had a great lunch (Ousler’s, fruit, deviled eggs, salad with walnuts and apples, and chips) followed by the very best cake from Olexa’s!

Samantha did pretty good at blowing out her candles!

Favorite pic of the day right here…

Everyone enjoyed the cake. It was so, so good!

It was then time for presents! Baby had plenty of help getting everything open!

She got some really fun stuff including a Sit N Spin, a tutu, a remote controlled Minnie car, a singing Elsa doll, a doctor kit, and a princess dress! What a lucky little girl! I’d say she loved it all – and loved dressing up and dancing with Elsa and GJ! 🙂

What a fun day getting to celebrate the TWO-riffic birthday girl!

Happy birthday Samantha!
I’m still making my way through all the pictures from Samantha’s birthday party but today I’ve got a few more of her “official” TWO photos!

Nothing better than my sweet little girl looking pretty in pink!
Samantha’s birthday party wasn’t until Sunday but we still celebrated on her real birthday too! Just like I did for Maxwell the past two years, I made her a big number cinnamon roll! A giant TWO! (Don’t worry, Spencer wasn’t deprived, he just wanted doughnuts instead!) 🙂

Even better was that we had GJ in town to help her blow out the candles!

It was then time for some fun presents from Mrs. Susan, including her VERY favorite gift – Star Wars pjs!! ha! Now she can be just like brothers!

These two had a fun day together doing around and hanging out at the mall.

A perfect day for my perfect little TWO year old!

As Baby says, Happa Birday!
Our little girl sure has been celebrated over the past several days! Being TWO is the best! The fun started on Wednesday of last week when she got to take treats to school to celebrate with her friends. Samantha loves this rainbow book so I got her some cute rainbow cookies! They were made by the same friend that did the Hulk and Captain America cookies for the boys.

We might have taste tested them on Tuesday night. 🙂 Yum!

She was looking extra special cute for her school birthday on Wednesday!!

and, yes, she got to taste test the cookies just a bit that morning too! 🙂

Mrs. Laura sent me these pictures from school. I just love seeing her with all of her little buddies!

This sweet baby!

She surely is as pretty as any rainbow!!!
