Lots of fall fun going on at school. Spencer got to go on his first field trip to the pumpkin patch!
They also did a Pumpkin Investigation at school!
Samantha got to have some pumpkin and puppet fun on orange day at school!
She told me she did NOT like the taste of that little orange pumpkin and spit it out in the trash! ha! I’ve never liked them either!

Halloween is almost here! The Boo Bash is at school today! Don’t be scared of the ghosts around!!
Booooo!
Both boys had great fall baseball seasons! Maxwell is a solid player who continues to steadily improve. He had some really good plays this season and proved to be a great pitcher (not pitching but playing the pitcher position). He might not have wanted to play pitcher (he wanted to be at first!) but he proved he was someone the team could count on!
Spencer had so much fun playing coach pitch and never had to go to the tee even once! He got to play first quite a bit and had several legitimate outs!
We all had fun entertaining ourselves at the ballpark – icees all around! We even kept score with the help of GJ at one of the last games!
I sadly had to miss Maxwell’s last game and apparently he had the game of his life! Made a double play, caught a pop fly in the outfield, and just played great all the way around. He was pretty proud to get the game ball on that final game! Woohoo!
I missed Maxwell’s game because I was at Spencer’s next to last game! A slightly rainy and fun night!

It was a great season for this awesome Dodger and this fantastic Cub!
Their favorite cheerleader had a good season too! 🙂

On Friday night of last week Robert and Maxwell went on their cub scout campout. Thankfully it wasn’t nearly as cold as last year and they had pre-constructed tents to sleep in! Hardly roughing it at all!

I decided to be nice and let the Bobbsey twins sleep with me back at home. Considering how pitiful I slept with the two of them in the bed I’m pretty sure I was the one roughing it! ha!
On Saturday night, I took the kids to see the Kidz Bop concert! Well, I took 2 of my kids. Spencer decided to go to a birthday party he got invited to so Maxwell got to invite Jack to come with us. We met up with some friends before and everyone was excited…
We were up in the cheap seats but it was fine. The kids enjoyed it and everyone was dancing along in their seat…well, mostly everyone. 🙂
Samantha really didn’t like it when it got too loud in there though! ha!
My favorite line of the night was when she turned to me during one song and said excitedly, “Momma! Alvin, Simon, and Theodore sing this song!” Love her.
Can’t wait to take them all to a real concert someday!!
Spencer got to have his birthday party on his actual birthday! Doesn’t get better than that! He had a few friends out to Urban Air and it was Jurassic World themed, of course!
Everyone was excited – especially Spencer!
We had the whole crew there including GJ, Lulu, Granddaddy, and baby Margaret!
Betcha can’t even tell these cupcakes flipped over in the car on the way there! Uh oh!
It didn’t bother the kids one bit! We had the whole place to ourselves which was awesome.
I hope Spencey felt super loved and celebrated by all these sweet friends!
Something tells me he had a GREAT time! ha!
