At some point Maxwell had found something online about how to make Baby Yoda cookies using an angel cookie cutter.
Of course GJ delivered and got them all set up to make Baby Yoda cookies. I must say, they turned out WAY better than I was expecting!

Naples is always fun – even more so when GJ has surprises! Samantha was pretty thrilled with her new purple bed…

which broke one day later so we got another even cooler set!
The best surprise? This awesome water slide for the pool! So fun!
We love Naples!
After 12 weeks quarantined at home, we decided we had to make some changes for the summer. We had no sports games to stay in town for, no social events we were going to be missing, no camps to go to – might as well go to Naples! We’ll probably never have this much free time again to just go hang in Naples and I knew it was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up. This is also my first summer without a job and I can’t think of a better way to spend it! Unfortunately Robert does have to work so he has to stay in Birmingham. But having the whole house to himself for a few weeks doesn’t seem like that much of a punishment!
We headed down the day after Memorial Day…
and were pretty happy to be out of Birmingham…
and even happier to finally see this lady and give her a big hug!

Just a little Friday funny around here that I want to remember. The kids, Spencer in particular, really like Oatmeal Cream Pies. I went to the grocery store and thought I was buying a jumbo box of OCPs. Nope, I was actually buying a box of jumbo OCPs! ha! Needless to say, Spencer was delighted!
This was a meme I saw early on in the quarantine that got us all laughing. Big Deborah (which they pronounce duh-bor-ah) has become a running joke in our family now and these jumbo OCPs were just the cherry on the top of the joke!
Big laughs around here. Now hand over that snack cake!
