On Saturday Robert, Maxwell and I went to get our Christmas Tree! Ho Ho Ho! We found a great one and the house smells so good now! The best part of it all? When we got home, Maxwell took a THREE hour nap in his swing giving us a chance to get the tree into the house and completely decorated with time to spare. I guess he was just filled with the spirit of the season. 🙂
At the tree lot…
Our little elf was afraid we were going to put him to work stringing lights when we got home…
He decided the best way to avoid working was to sleep. Fine by me! (sorry for the blurry pic, the swing was swinging!)
Our Christmas tree!
Then, because I’m a dork, I made both of us pose in front of the tree with the baby. Gotta capture the memories! 🙂
If you’re curious after my post Sunday, here is the original and edited versions of the header shot:
Not perfect but I’d rather see some blurry trees than those people! I also took out the cars in the background. Pretty neat!
Oh Christmas tree – oh Christmas tree . . . I got my Christmas tree, too! Can’t wait for you to see mine when you get to Florida!
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! 🙂
Mom, you’re not a dork, you just like the holidays! I fear that Andy Williams makes you more happy this time of year than me!
I didn’t even notice the blurry trees until you pointed them out. I think it looks great!
Your tree is so pretty! Love the pic of Maxwell hollering his head off. 🙂 Classic!
The tree is beee-yootiful!!
You should be a photo editor on the side. I’m convinced! What a difference!
