On Monday I had 4 little monkeys climbing in a tree!
Maxwell’s friend, Butler, came over to play and they discovered that the magnolia tree in our front yard is really fun to climb! They would have gone all the way to the top of that tree if I had let them!

and Spencer tried so, so hard to keep up. It’s hard to be the little brother sometimes.
But, they all had fun…
and thankfully they all managed to safely climb down and didn’t fall out of the tree! Phew.
Something tells me this poor magnolia might be stripped by the time Maxwell is 12!

Somehow this reminds me of another little boy about that age climbing a magnolia tree!
That magnolia on Tankersley was the best! I have memories of Eunice watching me climb, too.
