Good morning everyone! or afternoon or evening….whenever you’re stopping by. Hope you all had a great weekend. While ours was HOT it was also nice. On Saturday morning we headed down to the Pepper Place Farmer’s Market…
There were lots of great fruits and veggies around but we particularly liked this booth…the Pie Lady!
We didn’t come home with any squash or zucchini, but we did come home with a red velvet whoopie pie! 🙂
Maxwell loved checking out all the people…
and I loved my breakfast burrito…
FYI – that Starbucks came from the Crestline Starbucks which closed this weekend…sad, sad day. I go to that Starbucks pretty much every day and on the weekends we have a little routine of getting up, throwing Maxwell in the stroller in his pj’s and walking the few short blocks to get our Starbucks. I love that routine. Guess we’ll have to find a new weekend tradition.
I digress…back to the Farmer’s Market – it was a fun morning and I think Maxwell liked it!
The rest of the weekend we tried to get Maxwell to crawl but no luck yet….he can rock back and forth on his knees though!
We practiced standing up…
and we went to the park…with full sun coverage hat of course!
The weekend was great but, as always, too short. Can’t wait for the holiday weekend coming up!

Fun! Fun! Fun! Maxwell will rock back and forth for awhile and just when you think he won’t crawl he’ll be half way across the room! Delaney used to do that non-stop! I took her in for her 9 mo well visit about three days early (due to an extended weekend) and the doctor said “Not every baby crawls she may just scoot and then walk” and wouldn’t you know it two hours later Delaney was crawling. She had to prove to that doctor that she just wasn’t any baby.
Maxwell is just trying to catch you off guard as well! And then he’ll say “Look Mama at what I can do!” And then you’ll have a great weekend in Naples with nothing baby proofed! Hahaha! You’ll be exhausted before you know it! 🙂 Look out world! Here comes Maxwell!
