On Thursday of last week, my costumed crew went to trick-or-treat at Kirkwood by the River, a retirement community. Our church organizes a group every year and it turned out to be so great. The kids got TONS of candy and seeing the looks on the faces of the people that live there was PRICELESS. Little Miss Rainbow Sunshine was a HIT!
I mean…she’s so cute I can hardly stand it!!!
We saw some friends…
and then walked up and down all the halls trick-or-treating with the residents!
Samantha got the hang of “trick treat!” right away and walked right up to everyone to snag her piece of candy! I mean…just look at the faces on these ladies watching her…
They couldn’t get enough of her!
We sat down after to eat a little bit of the candy and Baby couldn’t wait to “taste the rainbow!” Β π
It was such a neat, fun thing to do. More Halloween fun tomorrow!
She brings sunshine where ever she goes!
This brings a great deal of joy to a person who is infirm, this was a sweet thing to do. It is good for children , too.
Baby’s makin’ it rain sunshine everywhere!
I agree. It’ s wonderful for the children to see what joy they can bring to others! What a great learning experience for all!!
