More photos of more fun!

In a slightly unexpected twist, Samantha had signed up to be in the play! They practiced every single day and put on a production of Annie that Jimboy described as “shockingly good”!! I might not have gotten to see it but I feel confident that the apple seller stole the show!

Proud of our stage star! and our camp star!

More Camp Snap camera pics of camp friends…

After 4.5 long weeks, it was finally pick up day. I was a little disappointed that I wasn’t the first car in line…I was second!

While sitting in my car I actually spotted Samantha! She spotted me too and then ran away. She wanted to save up the reunion for the running hug and I didn’t blame her one bit.

After getting her things loaded into the car we finally got to head up the hill and I got my running hug!! Nothing better.

I then got to see her bunk, meet her counselors, and see an old college friend who’s daughter was also in TL4!

We hit the road and got about 2 hours down the road when we got a call from camp that one of Samantha’s large duffel bags was still at camp. Oops! After determining it was just full of bedding and dress up clothes, we decided to let camp ship it to us instead of turning around and adding 4 hours to our drive home. This girl was ready to be HOME!

and these brothers sure were happy to see her!

I don’t think Samantha could have had a better Greystone experience this summer – she grew more independent, managed through some homesickness, made new friends, and showed Greystone the best of herself! I’m so proud of her and love her so much! Thanks for a great summer Camp Greystone. See you next summer at Main!
Camp is such a wonderful experience! They always seem so much older when they get home!
Wish I could go to camp!
Proud of her and glad she had so much fun, but more excited to have her home!
