Friday Favorite

April 1, 2011

Today’s Friday Favorite are, of course, Maxwell’s shoes.  His awesome Robeez shoes.  They’re easy to get on his feet but hard for him to get off!  After walking all over Crestline Village last week to find and retrieve a missing sock, I’m sure Supernanny Susan’s favorite thing about the shoes is that they keep his socks on!

These shoes are supposedly good for developing little feet.  There are actually some interesting facts about babies’ feet on the Robeez/Stride Rite site.  Did you know that babies’ feet don’t have arches? Arches don’t start to develop until 2 years old.  Fascinating, huh?  And babies’ feet perspire two times more than adults?  I had no idea!  Now you’ve learned something new today.  You’re welcome.

As you’ve already seen, Maxwell owns these super cute firetruck shoes…

And he also has these adorable puppy dog ones (these are a little different with a harder sole)…

And I just bought him these fantastic “running” shoes…

I debated about these sandals for the summer but can’t decide if they’re cute or just nerdy…thoughts?

Maybe he just needs some cool California slip-ons…surfs’s up!

And I think these are a must to go golfing with Dad!

And he definitely should get these in honor of Daddo!

And these?  these just make me laugh…

To be clear, he doesn’t own all these shoes…only the first 3 pairs!  Don’t worry, I’m not going to turn him into a shoe addict like me!  I do love that there are some cute boy footwear options though.

Here’s Maxwell in his puppy dog shoes looking sharp…and very grown up.  Where’s my baby?

And look what he wore for the first time yesterday!  Blue jeans!  Yep, my little boy wore his first pair of jeans…he really is too cool for school!

I think he liked them too!

Stay tuned for some exciting stuff next week – 7 month pictures (7 months?! time flies!), “action” photos of some serious rolling over fun, and whatever else the week brings.  I know you can hardly wait!  🙂

Have a great weekend!!

Would love to hear from you! 5 Comments

Holy shoes! And Keath thought Delaney had a lot! I love Robeez shoes. They stay on longer than most. Cute selection!

Yes, we know this baby’s momma loves her shoes so it’s only natural that Maxwell should own some very stylish shoes! Love the pictures of that happy little boy – and he is a little boy now – where did our baby go?!!!!!

Picture Maxwell in his Giligan hat, sunglasses, white socks and those Robeez sandals. All he needs is some Zinka on his nose and he’ll be ready for the beach!
