We had our glasses, we sat outside, we experienced the eclipse! It was pretty cool…short, but cool! At Maxwell’s school they were going to keep the K – 4th graders inside to watch a live stream on tv. I gave him the option of checking out to see it outside with us but he chose to stay at school with his friends.
The max coverage in Birmingham was at 1:31pm. Even though we had glasses for Samantha…
we decided to go on and put her down for a nap and not try to keep her up. I didn’t want the pressure of trying to keep her glasses on! Spence was ready to go though! We actually tied his glasses onto his head so they wouldn’t come off! ha! Susan was good and brought out the Children’s Bible to read the story of how God created day and night. Very fitting!
Let there be light, indeed!
Love those crescent shadows behind Spencer’s head.
Now we can all say we’ve seen an eclipse! Check check!
The eclipse was pretty neat here in Florida also!
Very cool shapes on the ground. I enjoyed the view from the office. Anyone want to buy some eclipse glasses?
