Doctor report

December 7, 2021

Sad news in our world, our beloved Dr. Walley moved out of state and we had to find a new pediatrician. We decided not to stay at the practice because they do not have another male doctor and the boys really didn’t want to go to a female. So, we asked around and moved the boys over to see Dr. Stone. We had a good first visit. He’s VERY different than Dr. Walley but he’s a great doctor and very thoughtful in his interactions with the boys. We’re all going to miss the laughs and Disney and Star Wars conversations with Dr. Walley though!

The boys both got great reports. Maxwell is 72.6 lbs and 4 feet and 9.25 inches (57.25 inches). Creeping up on 5 feet! That puts him in the 55th% for height and the 30th% for weight. He’s always been lean and mean! Last year he was 54.5 inches tall and 65.8 lbs so that’s a gain of 3 inches and 7 lbs in 1 year! This was a big appointment for Maxwell – he got 3 shots including his HPV vaccine.

Spencer is 4 feet 5 and 7/8 inches (54 inches) and 63.6 lbs. He’s 70th% for height and 50th% for weight. Strong and growing! Last year he was 51 inches tall and 58.2 lbs. That means Spencer also grew about 3 inches and gained 5 lbs! At 9 Maxwell was 52 inches tall and 57.6 lbs. Spencer had an easy appointment – no shots!

I didn’t get a picture of them with the new doctor. It just didn’t seem right. But, Dunkin Donuts is on the way home from the new office so the boys thought that was a good perk!

They also enjoyed getting to check into school late!

We so miss Dr. Walley but are thankful we had such a good doctor when these boys were little. Regardless of the pediatrician, we are also most thankful for good doctor reports!

I could see they were growing, I didn’t know how much. Healthy shows everyday in their activity. They are both doing very well.
