Another day, another trip to the beach!
Of course, there’s always a football around!
Maxwell has no issue asking anyone on the beach if he can join into their football game!

Of course we also made it to the beach while down in Naples!
The water was still a little chilly so we didn’t do much swimming but that didn’t bother the kids one bit. They’d rather play in the sand anyway!
This made me laugh…as if fair skinned Spencer EVER needs to lay directly in the sun! ha! He’s got a bright future full of swim shirts and beach umbrellas! 🙂
My beach babies!
While the water was chilly, that didn’t stop Samantha from wading out farther than she needed to go. I kept telling her she was getting too far and she needed to come back. She wouldn’t listen. “I’m fine!”
Well, she took one more step and wasn’t fine and I had to dash out there in my cover up to pull her up and out of the water. Not fun. I was thankful to get back home and swim in the hot tub again where her toes can touch the bottom!

Naples
We headed down to Naples for Spring Break two weeks ago and, as always, had a great time!
We swam in the heated hot tub at home…
and went to the heated pool at the club!
We rode scooters and trikes…
and climbed our favorite tree.
We baked treats…
and ate treats!
Of course we went to Target…
and had breakfast at Skillets where Spencer decided he actually liked bacon! (smart boy!)
Princess Samantha reigned over us all…
and the boys even got pampered at the salon getting some Easter haircuts!
We hung out with Daddo…
and loved on GJ!
Of course, all the fun wore us out…
and we can’t wait to go back!

Back at it
We’re back at it today after a week on spring break in our favorite place!
We rolled back into town on Friday just in time for egg hunts and Easter. Let’s see how long it takes me to catch up on pictures!

The Lake
Over President’s Day weekend, my friend nicely invited me and the kids to go to her lake house. Another friend and her kids joined and we had quite the crew – 3 moms and 8 kids! None of us were quite sure how it was going to go but, thanks to some beautiful weather and kids that got along GREAT, it turned out to be the BEST weekend! The lake is still low so they have this great beach area which was perfect for digging, building dams, and getting really dirty!
Spencer sat in the water by himself for probably 2 hours just stacking rocks and having the best time…
Everyone was so happy to be outside!
Samantha and Leslie Hales were like peas in a pod all weekend…
Because everyone played so hard outside, they all miraculously slept incredibly well! woohoo!
Overall it was a better weekend than any of us expected with this cute crew!
Hooray for weekends away with sweet friends!
