For the Falcon’s playoff game and the Super Bowl, one of the moms got a pro photographer to come take pictures. He got some great ones of Maxwell! These are from the playoff game…
Ready to play!
He’s about to rip that ball out!
Go Maxwell! Go Falcons!
Samantha had another awesome season of soccer!! Her team picked a few new members this year and they really all played pretty well together. Team name for Fall 2022? The Kickstars!!
Of course soccer is more fun with friends!
Coach Clay, Jane, Millan, Leslie Hails, Betsy, Alice, Samantha, Frances, Ann Welden, Emma, Bonnie
Samantha continues to prove that she’s a natural talent when it comes to soccer. Her footwork is truly impressive. I really don’t know how she knows to do what she does but she just gets it! She can dribble the ball around the defender with ease and she made some fantastic passes to teammates this season. I really, really, REALLY love to watch her play out on that field!
Don’t worry, there’s still been plenty of cartwheels this season too!!
The team only lost 1 game – and we’re blaming that on a flying shoe that distracted the goalie. ha! That took us to the silver bracket in the final tournament but these girls came out on top of that and won their bracket! Woohoo!! Samantha scored the team’s only two goals in the championship game!
My soccer star!! Go Samantha! Go Kickstars!
The 6th grade Falcons made it to the Super Bowl! It was a warm and weirdly humid evening but it sure was fun to get to watch these boys play under the lights at night!
Ready to go!!
It was a great game. Maxwell played maybe the best I’ve seen him play all season and had some monster tackles. Unfortunately the Falcons came up short. I’m really sad his rec football days have come to an end because I sure did love watching him play! He played in 4th, 5th and 6th grade and made it to the Super Bowl two of those years and won the Super Bowl in 5th grade. Not bad at all!! I hope he continues to play in the Junior High because he’s got talent!
I’m just so proud of Maxwell and how he handles himself in all situations. He’s a good athlete and an even better kid!
A job well done, Maxwell! Great season for the Falcons!
Rise up!
Maxwell’s last year to play rec football and he went out with a fantastic season and team! He had some good buddies on the Falcons with him and a really great coach. Like last year, Maxwell played corner back all season and pretty much never let anyone get by him! Lockdown corner for sure!! I had lots of parents – and the coach! – tell me what a good football player he is. He attacks the play and makes the tackle with no hesitation.
I sure loved watching both of these boys play this season!
The Falcons had a pretty good season – good enough to get a bye in the first round of the playoffs! They won their second round playoff game and got to go to the Super Bowl! Woohoo!! Full Super Bowl round up tomorrow!
They celebrated the night before with a team party…
Go Falcons!
Rise Up!!
