How did we get so lucky? Happy Mother’s Day to our 3 very favorites!!! We love you!
This little pink dress was one of my favorites when I was little. It was smocked by GJ, of course, and pretty sure it was her favorite too!
I was a little older when I wore it because it used to be longer. Then I got it caught in the wheel of my BigWheel and ripped the fabric along the hem. Despite the torn hem, GJ saved it and, all these years later, was able to hem it up much shorter to cover the tear…and now it’s the perfect length for my perfect 3 year old!
I don’t think she could look cuter if she tried!

Of course, I have to recognize the very best spectators of the baseball season! Spencer and Samantha were troopers going to all of Maxwell’s games and, often, practices too. Maxwell was a good helper at all of Spencer’s games.
They were there in good weather…
and bad!
Thankfully they had some friends to play with at many of the games.
Spencer loved to go “climb the mountain” at Maxwell’s games and did that just about every week. He rarely actually watched Maxwell’s game! Samantha wanted to climb the mountain as well but after I had to go get her off the mountain once, I told her you had to be 5 years old to climb the mountain from now on! ha! After that she tended to hang with me in the stands and play with any toys that she brought.
Of course, I think they mostly liked going to Maxwell’s games because they knew they’d get an Icee! Whatever it takes!
As crazy as it was, I’m going to miss these days at the ball park this summer!
Pretty sure they’re just going to miss the Icees! 🙂

Street Party success! Just like the last one, it was months of planning, lots of hard work, but all worth it! The day went off (mostly) without a hitch and I think all the kids had a great time. The weather was perfect and everything seemed to run smoothly! Yay!
As always, GJ was there to help and I couldn’t have done it without her. Maxwell also decided he needed to come “help” for the day so he played hooky from 1st grade to go back to preschool! 🙂

The most important thing was that the kids had FUN! They loved the games, the prizes, the bounce house!!
Sadly, the only snafu of the day was when the generator powering both of the bounce houses in the park went down. We were able to get one up and going with an extension cord and then FunSource finally got back out there with a new generator. Not ideal but out of our control. We made it work!
It was a lot of work but I had 3 good reasons to do it!
I’d do anything for this crew! 🙂
