Now who’s ready for Thanksgiving?!
It’s almost Halloween! The boys had the Boo Bash at school on Friday last week and, despite the drizzly, cold weather, had the BEST time! We didn’t go full costume for school and just went as a football and baseball player…
They had all kinds of fun games…
including a cake walk where both Maxwell and Spencer won. We got to take home a full cake and 18 cookies! Just what we needed!
Also, just so I remember, here’s what I made for the cake walk. Pans of brownies with an icing spider web and a spider! easy!
There were even rides too! So so fun!
Spencer clearly LOVED them! (I’m sure Maxwell did too but he was off with his friends and didn’t care about walking around with me! ha!)
It really was a fun day with sweet school friends!
Maxwell’s class…
and Spencer’s!
Happy almost Halloween from these two!
Boo bash success!
Lots of fall fun going on at school. Spencer got to go on his first field trip to the pumpkin patch!
They also did a Pumpkin Investigation at school!
Samantha got to have some pumpkin and puppet fun on orange day at school!
She told me she did NOT like the taste of that little orange pumpkin and spit it out in the trash! ha! I’ve never liked them either!
Fall goodness all around!
Turning SIX is pretty awesome and this kid did it right! The celebration started the day before his birthday with his party with Mrs. Susan! She outdid herself this year with a remote controlled fire breathing dragon!! Whoa!
There were rice krispie treats and pin the tail on the dino! Perfect!
Spencer woke up on Thursday to lots of Jurassic World balloons and a special birthday breakfast!! Happy Birthday Spencey!!
Then it was off to school in his new dino shirt from Mrs. Susan!
I went up and had lunch with him and he took these great dino cookies for all of his class. too cute!
I even got to see Maxwell in the lunchroom too!
This kid had a great day as a new SIX year old!
and his party was still to come! Lots of celebrating!
Samantha had picture day at school last week. Choosing school clothes every day with her is a lesson in the art of negotiation. Sometimes I win, many times she wins. School picture day was a day I HAD to win. I used my best negotiating tools (aka bribery) and finally got her in this adorable dress…
She looked super cute and got an Icee after school and an LOL Ball from Target. Win win all around! Of course, she had to be sure and let me know how she felt about it all…
I love this child and every bit of her strong willed personality!!
And didn’t she look perfect for picture day! Β π
