Valentine recap

February 18, 2020

Valentine’s Day was a big hit around here! The kids got lots of candy at their school parties on the 13th, got plenty of treats at home, and even had the day off of school on the 14th! They spent it at the movies! Can’t beat that! A few pics from Samantha’s class party…

Valentine Program

February 14, 2020

Samantha had her Valentine Art Show up at school last week and it was, unfortunately, a rainy day. So rainy that they had delayed school 2 hours and Lulu and Granddaddy weren’t able to make it up for the program. But, Robert and I got to go see our little sunshine perform.

Samantha and I got there nice and early – gotta get that front row seat!

I can’t say Samantha was particularly animated during the performance. But, she also was up at the doctor the next morning with strep so I’m thinking she wasn’t feeling great. That’s ok though – she still looked cute! Β πŸ™‚

Valentines

February 13, 2020

The kids worked hard on their Valentines this year and I think they all turned out great! Samantha wrote her name on all of hers and we wrapped them up with cute heart shaped bath bombs!

Spencer went with Star Wars and did a great job making his Valentine box. He and Maxwell did it all on their own!

Expressions Art Contest

February 11, 2020

Maxwell and Spencer entered the Expressions Art Contest up at school this year by making a video with their friend, Frank. They did a great job – wrote the script, made a set and everything! It was a sports broadcast type show called “Sports Stuff with the Whiz Kids!” Maxwell and Frank were the anchors and Spencer was the field reporter. They had a lot of fun doing it…and they even won the blue ribbon!!

Woohoo! They got first place in the video category for 3rd and 4th grades! Impressive! ESPN watch out – here come the Whiz Kids!

They were also Blue Ribbon winners last year!
