At the end of April, Samantha and the entire 5th grade had a fun week at Camp Alpine! They learned all about nature and science, had a variety show, did the ropes course, dealt with lots of rain, and some of them even got hit with food poisoning! Oh yes and Oh no!! Thankfully Samantha was ok but it made for some memories for sure. I love that MBE does this for a full week and am very thankful for the teachers, staff and parents that are willing to go! I share the drop off pictures a few weeks ago and here are lots and lots of photos we were sent once they were back home!

More Alpine pics tomorrow!

Samantha had a super fun day rotating all around the school to different activities. I went down to watch for the kickball game and – my favorite – tug of war!! These kids are competitive and it’s the BEST!

Sometimes you fall down…

but you gotta get back up!

and then you celebrate!

Mrs. Boyda’s class – Kickball and Tug of War CHAMPIONS!

Field Day, best day!

We were up bright and early the day after the dance recital for Field Day! All of the 5th grade girls came to our house for donuts and flair…

More Field Day tomorrow!

The 5th grade had a science fair this year! Samantha chose a lava lamp project and we conducted the experiment at home varying the levels of oil and water mixed with Alka Seltzer tablets…

We then got to go up to school to the Science Fair! Samantha did an excellent job on her board and explained her experiment very well!

Smart science girls!
