Skiing!

About two weeks ago Robert took the kids to see Susan and Barry for the day and they had all sorts of fun on the lake! After seeing Maxwell up on a ski board earlier this summer, she was determined to get the kids up on skis!

2 out of 3 made it up on skis! Woohoo!! Robert said Samantha could have done it if she’d tried one more time but she got knocked in the belly with a ski and that was it for her. Super proud of the boys though!

One of my good friends turned 40 last week and had the most fun celebration! It started with a full morning of tennis – can’t beat that!. We did an hour and a half of cardio with Barry and then did a little round robin tournament for prizes. We didn’t tell the birthday girl and all wore black to mourn the passing of her youth! ha!

Of course it was followed by a super long and entertaining lunch!!

Really thankful for all the fun and friends that tennis has brought to me!

We shut the club down but the party wasn’t over…moved on to the after party!

We stayed out way too late and had way too much fun but it was totally worth it! A super fun night celebrating a great friend!!

Highlands

When we went to pick up Maxwell from camp, we tacked on a few extra days in Highlands. It sure was nice to get some mountain air and cooler temps! We hiked and golfed and enjoyed the break!
