Maskers 2013

Like last year, we traveled down to Montgomery this past weekend to go to the Maskers Ball.  Our niece, Anna, was a princess in it this year and we had a great time hanging with the fam “uh-gumry” as Maxwell calls it!

The weekend started off right for Maxwell with a new Thomas the Train book…

That night, Robert and I got all dolled up and left the kids with a sitter upstairs in the hotel.

We had a great night celebrating this pretty princess!

The next day we enjoyed the beautiful sunshine and went to the Maskers lunch…

and then snuck in a cute cousin pic before it was time to head home!

The week

Friday!  Sadly, this was my last week of maternity leave and I’m sad.  Back to work on Monday.  Luckily I got to soak up all sorts of fun with my boys this week.  I didn’t even mind when Maxwell’s school was cancelled on Wednesday (well, delayed until 11:30 but considering he gets out at 1:00, what’s the point?!) because it meant I got to spend all day with him.

This week we hit up the park…

We got a “BIG cookie” as a reward for being such a great potty user…

and got to enjoy that cookie outside in the 70 degree weather in January!

I snuggled on this guy a lot…

and am loving his alert expressions!

Most of all, I just got to enjoy my boys – all 3 of them!

Anniversary celebration

Last weekend, Robert and I decided to actually go out to dinner to celebrate our anniversary. But, we had no sitter so we just took the kids. What does that mean? It means going to dinner at 5:45! 🙂 Fine with me! Both kids were (fairly) well behaved and we had a great dinner at The Club…a little fancier than our usual Mexican but it was a special occasion!

Life’s a little different these days! but it sure is fun! 🙂

Five whole years

Happy Anniversary, Robert.  Thanks for putting up with me for 5 whole years.  Here’s to 55 more!

TGIF for real

I’m ready to say good riddance to this week and all that came with it – the wreck, the ticket, the rain, etc.  Adios week!  Let’s end it on some good notes…

1. We got SNOW yesterday!  Not a lot but enough for Maxwell to get a kick out of…

It kept coming down and Maxwell really wanted to build a “Frosty” so we went back out and made a little one!

Although he told me that Frosty really needed an orange nose!  funny boy.  Lots more snow pics to come!

2. Today Spencer is 3 months old!  Happy 1/4 of a year sweet boy!  Pics to come next week.

I could eat this little boy up!

3. Happy 5 year Anniversary to Robert tomorrow.  5 whole years!  This seems like yesterday…
