Maxwell got this cute “big boy” Polo and pair of pants from Susu for Christmas. He looks so grown up in his cute new clothes! No onesies for this big boy!!
Look at these sweet chubby cheeks. I’ve said it before…and I’ll say it again…I could just EAT HIM UP!
I could also nibble on these toes…these perfect toes.

Yesterday was a muggy, stormy, bad weather day. Not good for strolling…but perfect for a trip to the mall to ride the carousel! Supernanny Susan loaded Maxwell into the car and took him out for a little carousel ride. Fun fun!
They had a big decision to make…which animal to ride? They decided to go with the giraffe, just like Maxwell’s much loved Sophie! Susan said the giraffe didn’t go up and down and Maxwell kept eyeing the horses that did go up and down so they might have to saddle up to a horse next time! 🙂
Luckily Susan had her camera with her and took a few pics. Here they are all buckled in and ready to go!
Maxwell even grabbed on to the pole to hold on!
Susan also snapped these pics of Maxwell waking up from his nap all smiles! “Operation Crib Nap” is still a work in progress but we are getting MUCH better! At least he woke up happy yesterday after a little snooze in his bed!
A great rainy day I’d say!

We had absolutely glorious weather all weekend long! Highs in the 70’s, sunny, perfection! Robert and I ran some errands, took several walks and just enjoyed being together as a family of 3! On Sunday we took a little trip to Sam’s and the grocery store and Maxwell rode in the buggy for the first time…
He wasn’t quite so sure about it at first…
but after a few spins around the store he thought it was pretty fun!
The Sam’s cart was a little big for him but he fit just right into the Publix cart!
That afternoon we took a stroll around the neighborhood…
Maxwell kicked back and enjoyed feeling the wind on his toes…
We then made our way to – where else?! – the tot lot to swing! Yep, more swing pictures…
I know I post a lot of swing pictures, but Maxell loves it so much and just gives the BEST smiles while swinging…
He loves it. and I love that he loves it.
Robert was nice enough to share his glasses with Maxwell to keep the sun out his eyes…

Because of all the warm weather we’ve had, some things around the neighborhood are already in bloom. Several of these trees are all bloomed out…
I’m not sure what kind of trees these are but they sure are pretty!

Just a little bonus post today because this made me laugh so hard this morning. Maxwell has gotten into a habit of sleeping with his head smooshed up against the bumper…let’s just say it didn’t do great things for his hair last night! Someone had major bedhead this morning! 🙂
I kept trying to smooth it down but it just wouldn’t go! too funny!
Ok, this is the last bit of our big trip to Florida. On Friday afternoon, we drove over to Delray Beach because I was helping to host a baby shower for one of my oldest and best friends, Andee. She’s having a baby girl, Ellis, at the beginning of April. I’m so glad I was there to help her celebrate!
I made this fun diaper cake to take over…
Supernanny Susan made this fantastic pink bow for Andee and it looked perfect on the mailbox for the shower!
All of the decorations were too cute in the bright, fun colors of Ellis’s nursery!
Andee got lots of great gifts. My friends, Laura and Hannah, and I went in together to get Andee a whole tub full of goodies…
And, even though Andee is a loyal FL Gators fan, Laura and Hannah had to throw in a little Razorback love…
and I had to represent the AL Tide!
It was a great party all around and Maxwell loved all the attention he got!
