Make it a great week!
What a week! Susan has been gone so GJ, Daddo, and Susu have been here playing “nanny”…well, GJ has been playing nanny while the other two “helped”! 🙂 I’m giving them all an A+! That is until yesterday when Daddo got a stomach virus and I lost my nanny for the day! Yes, I wish that was an April’s Fool’s joke but, no such luck. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed the virus doesn’t spread to everyone!
In the meantime, wishing you a happy Friday from this wind blown little lady…

and these two funny dudes who were not happy to have their picture taken!

Make it a great weekend! and watch out for those jokesters today! Don’t get fooled!
Hoppy Easter! The kids woke up Easter morning happy to see the bunny had visited! He brought Legos (of course), Lion Guard and Minnie Mouse plates, and some cool jungle animal hatching eggs! Fun!

The bunny also left a note that, because of the rain, all the eggs were hidden in the garage and under the covered patio. Thanks Easter Bunny!

Because of the weather, missed naps, and enduring coughs, Robert and Maxwell were the only ones to make it to church. They went to the early 8:00 service while Spencer, Samantha, and I stayed home. We got the house ready for all of our Easter visitors that showed up for lunch! Since everyone was coming to our house, we didn’t get dressed up in our Easter “finest” but we still tried to look cute!

This dress is the one that Susu and GJ made for baby and she wore to the egg hunt last year. She was basically too cute for words in her pretty pink dress! 🙂

We had a house full and had a good lunch with plenty of visiting!

We were so glad everyone could make the trip to be together. Happy Easter!
On Saturday we all got dressed in our spring colors and headed down to the annual Inscoe egg hunt outside of Wetumpka. We go every year and it’s always fun for the kids and good for Robert to see some old friends. Years past… 2015 and 2013 and 2012 and 2011.
My crew looked cute and ready for Easter!

It was a beautiful day – not too hot with a mixture of clouds and sun. Although, we seemed to have found the most sunny spot for this picture!

That’s better…

Baby loved stomping all around the place with as many Easter baskets as she could hold…

and she might have found an egg before the hunt officially started! I don’t think anyone minded. 🙂

The boys loved running around during the hunt to find eggs – and everyone got plenty of eggs this time around, thank goodness! The Easter Bunny later threw out little stuffed animals and Spencer and I managed to snag a lion for him and a cheetah for Maxwell! Perfect! The boys favorite part of the day though? Getting to play with Katie and Anna of course!

We tried to get a pic of all 5 cousins together but baby wasn’t exactly cooperating…

She wanted to be roaming around eating candy!

It was a beautiful day for hunting eggs!

See you tomorrow!
The Easter fun started on Friday when we dyed eggs!

Maxwell was very meticulous with his leaving them in the dye to soak for a long time to make brighter colors and then decorating a few with Sharpies.

Spencer took more of the drop and move approach! Each of his eggs went into several different cups several different times!

Poor baby was sad to be missing out on all the fun.

As a consolation, I gave her a chocolate Oreo.

She was a fan! and the boys were glad to have her out of their way! 🙂

Our egg masterpieces and the proud artists!

I thought they turned out egg-specially pretty this year! 🙂
