On Thursday of last week, my costumed crew went to trick-or-treat at Kirkwood by the River, a retirement community. Our church organizes a group every year and it turned out to be so great. The kids got TONS of candy and seeing the looks on the faces of the people that live there was PRICELESS. Little Miss Rainbow Sunshine was a HIT!

I mean…she’s so cute I can hardly stand it!!!

We saw some friends…

and then walked up and down all the halls trick-or-treating with the residents!

Samantha got the hang of “trick treat!” right away and walked right up to everyone to snag her piece of candy! I mean…just look at the faces on these ladies watching her…

They couldn’t get enough of her!

We sat down after to eat a little bit of the candy and Baby couldn’t wait to “taste the rainbow!”  🙂

It was such a neat, fun thing to do. More Halloween fun tomorrow!

The Halloween fun began last week when we gave our costumes a test run at the MBE Boo Bash! It was a little carnival at the school and, while there was not a ton of stuff to actually do, that didn’t seem to bother the kids. They had fun getting dressed up for sure…I present Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, and Little Miss Sunshine!!

Maxwell ran off with his friends almost immediately so Robert and I got to hang with Spencer and baby…

We all went through the “haunted” house, Spencer got his fortune told and everyone liked watching Coach Kane get dunked!

Of course, most time was spent playing on the playground!

A fun afternoon with friends!
