Pinewood Derby
Off to the races again! The boys made some awesome pinewood derby cars this year and had so much fun racing them last weekend. I think this year’s cars were some of our best yet!

It was a chilly rainy day but still a great day for a race!

The derby is always a good day with good buddies!
Spencer had to leave early for basketball – which is fitting considering his car! – so he didn’t get to watch any of the races. We didn’t end up with the fastest cars this year but that’s ok. Both boys did win Best Paint Job for their age division though! Woohoo and well deserved!
This was Maxwell’s last Pinewood Derby and I’m sad for it to come to an end for him. We’ve had many years of great cars! Happy to have a few more years with this scout…

More Lake
Some of our other besties were staying in another lake house down the road so we met up with them on Sunday night for dinner and more smores! These crazy boys might have decided to skinny dip in the freezing lake!!

The girls took up the freezing lake water challenge as well but smartly decided to wear their bathing suits…
Afterward they rinsed off in the shower with their “shower caps” on! Silly girls!
It was a really fun weekend with a really fun crew!
