Outta his way!

April 9, 2012

Happy Monday!  We had a great Easter and I hope you all did too.  Ours was great for 2 big reasons.  The first reason is that Maxwell can walk in his boot!  On Friday he totally mastered a leg stuck out to the side, peg-leg pirate like walk and he didn’t stop all weekend long!  It made egg hunting much more fun since we didn’t have to carry him around!

Here he is in action on Friday…

He was so good he was even spinning circles!

The second reason our Easter was great is because Maxwell went to sleep in Montgomery in his pack-n-play after only two minutes of crying!  If you’ll remember our history of trying to get Maxwell to sleep away from home then you’ll know this is cause for major celebration!  Hooray!!  We were able to enjoy dinner with Robert’s family and not worry about Maxwell screaming upstairs.  He slept all night and woke up happy as could be.  His naps on Saturday and Sunday were a different story but we’ll save that for tomorrow!  🙂

I took tons of pictures that I’ll get to asap but, for now, he’s a little sneak peak of him in his Easter finest!

See you tomorrow!

Happy Good Friday!

April 6, 2012

I hope you all have a wonderful day and Happy Easter!

As Maxwell would say with a wave, “Bah!” (pronounced like bath without the th, not like bop without the p).  See you Monday!

the kissing bandit

February 15, 2012

I think Maxwell was filled with the spirit of St. Valentine yesterday.  When I went to pick him up from school, his teacher said that he had been very lovable all day and was planting kisses on all the girls!  Oh goodness!  I think it must have been the L♥VE tshirt that got him going! I know he puckered up for Caitlynn especially – I think she’s his favorite!    🙂

I asked his teacher if the girls minded the little smooch and she said that she thought they kinda liked it!  Love was definitely in the air!  I can’t blame the little girls though…who whouldn’t want to get kissed by this happy little guy?

Maxwell also came home from school with this cute little Valentine bag made out of paper plates…

It was full of Valentine cards from all of his little girlfriends!  I tell ya, he’s a lover this kid!

My Valentine, Robert, didn’t come home with flowers like usual this year.  Instead, he brought me a piece of cake from Olexa’s!!  Sweets from my sweet!!  That cake is sooo good and it was pretty much the BEST VALENTINE GIFT ever!

Hope you all have  LOVEly day too!

Would love to hear from you! 3 Comments
